Clinical Experience
Hello and welcome! My name is Dr. Carly Katz, and I am the founder of Grow With Me Psychology, PLLC. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for working with children, adolescents, families, and adults facing mood and anxiety-based disorders. I am licensed in New York and Connecticut and hold PSYPACT licensure, enabling me to provide services to clients across multiple states.
I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices. I completed my postdoctoral training under the supervision of Dr. Dena Rabinowitz at Cognitive Behavioral Psychology of New York (CBPNY), and I honed my clinical skills during my internship at the Goodman Psychological Services Center at Albizu University. These experiences helped shape my therapeutic approach and my ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages.
Over the years, I have worked in various community outpatient clinics across South Florida, including the Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s Clinic at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, the Child and Adolescent Trauma and Stress Program at Nova Southeastern University, and the Child and Adolescent Mood and Treatment Program at the University of Miami. These diverse settings have given me a broad range of experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.
In addition to my clinical work, I have been involved in clinical research, focusing on individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, both at Nova Southeastern University and the Mailman Center for Human Development. This research has deepened my understanding of developmental and behavioral conditions, further enriching the care I provide to my clients.
As a strong advocate for professional growth and development, I am also passionate about supporting young professionals. I provide clinical supervision at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, where I guide the next generation of psychologists in their training.
